The advent of targeted therapies has revolutionized precision medicine across several cancer types, including lung adenocarcinoma. Despite achieving unprecedented responses, most patients eventually experience relapse, and disease progression becomes increasingly difficult to manage. In this presentation, I will discuss two related cases that illustrate how uncovering the molecular mechanisms of drug resistance reveals new therapeutic vulnerabilities, helping to extend treatment efficacy in vivo.
